Capulin Volcano National Monument

Sure I am Sitting On Top Of It. But It Is Dormant!
We stopped at the Capulin Volcano National Monument and had a scary ride to the top. Right at the edge, huge drops, rain, lightning, wind, clouds. I have passed this conical mountain so many times in the past and always wanted to go up. This was the first trip. From a distance you can see the road twisting up the exterior. On the road it is quite a bit more of an intense experience.Please visit Facebook in the sidebar link to see more pix.
